Her name is Valery Chocolat, she is a RBL base (Taylor Gibson)  with Pure Neemo body. She is was exhibited at Dolltopia Event in Bangkok, this past 6th of April. And now is looking for a home.

Lavanda means “Lavender” in Spanish and it’s my favorite fragrance and flower. She has been in the making for months, went trough several bodies and stages and now has come to life. She is made entirely of natural cotton, with poly filling and wire structure. Her face is hand painted. Her arms and legs are bendable. She comes fully dressed, with underpants, socks and boots. All items are hand crafted by me. I hope you like her as much as I do. She is definetely a lovely desk companion, a delicate wall hanging for a bedroom or a precious gift. Each Lavanda is different and unique.

Fawn is a tiny girl. Even though she may feel tiny, she is not intimidated. She has determination. She enjoys long walks, nature & animals and is looking for a special place to live. Fawn was originally a Macaron Q-Tea Party Middie Blythe. She has been fully customized with extreme care and detail by I HAVE WINGS.

Work done:

-Hair rerooted (secure knot method) in dark chocolate brown alpaca fiber.

-Carved and sculpted nose, philtrum and mouth. -Airbrushed eyelids and eyeshadow.

-Pastel, gouache & pencil make up, sealed with Liquitex.

- A long floral dress made with Liberty print cotton, cotton voile and vintage french lace.

-A cotton voile blouse with hand and machine embroidery details.

A little girl, of about 8 or 10 years of age; wild, pretty, loves nature and cooking. At first I got very excited with the idea of making a bjd. I sculpted several prototypes but never quite got what I wanted. My sculpting abilities are not super, but all the same I felt she was not herself. I also wanted to make something special and different.

I started to obsess with these antique dolls called Colombian antique dolls. Which are sort of jointed or articulated and have a sculpted head. It was exactly what I needed for Lavanda to come alive.

Although probably my doll will look nothing like this one above, I think she captures the IHW’s feeling and aesthetic. Antique,tea stained dresses are my trademark and an original IHW doll should capture that too.

I am running a first prototype with fabric body right now and tweaking body shapes and wire structure for possing. I think next week she will be ready to show her body and as soon as I can get my hands on silicon rubber I will be casting her first resin head.

I want each of them to be special, her face hand painted  with slightly different expressions but always keeping that sort of pout or smirk she had in the first sketches.

Her head is the size of a Tiny Betsy Mc Call and her body is like a Middie Blythe but with loooong legs ^_^  She is funny and a bit quirky and I hope you will love her as much as I do!

These lovely Teal dress sets are part of my “Attic Treasures” collection. They have the same silouhette and dress cut, but in a more edited version. Dress is entirely made with cotton voile. Embellished with vintage and french lace trims, silk ribbons and brass buttons/ charms. Closes at the back with 2 button & strap closure. Set is completed by a tulle lace petticoat, flower print stockings and a vintage caramel velvet bow clip.
